Maxcoat™ Coatings Overview:
Maxcoat™ coatings are specially formulated fluoropolymer resins that provide long-term corrosion protection. Maxcoat™ coatings offer the wear characteristics and corrosion protection of other PTFE-based coatings but at competitive prices. Maxcoat™ coatings offer an excellent alternative across a wide range of applications in the aerospace, defense, heavy equipment, construction and food processing industries.
Properties of Maxcoat™ coatings:- Up to 3000 hours salt spray protections (per ASTM B117)
- Low coefficient of friction: u = 0.03 – 0.04
- Coating thicknesses range from 0.0010" ± 0.0005"
- Working temperature range: -320°F – 500°F
- FDA approved for use in food processing applications

Maxcoat™ Case Study:
Maxcoat™ has been tested and proven effective as a protective treatment for hardware used in contact with ACQ (types A,B) treated lumber per AWPA E12 corrosion testing. Friction modifying components in Maxcoat™ coatings allows for the use of lower drive torques when driving Maxcoat™ coated fasteners into wood.
