Maxcoat Coatings Overview:
Maxcoat coatings are specially formulated fluoropolymer resins that provide long-term corrosion protection. Maxcoat coatings offer the wear characteristics and corrosion protection of other PTFE-based coatings but at competitive prices. Maxcoat coatings offer an excellent alternative across a wide range of applications in the aerospace, defense, heavy equipment, construction and food processing industries.
Properties of Maxcoat coatings:- Up to 3000 hours salt spray protections (per ASTM B117)
- Low coefficient of friction: u = 0.03 0.04
- Coating thicknesses range from 0.0010" ± 0.0005"
- Working temperature range: -320°F 500°F
- FDA approved for use in food processing applications

Maxcoat Case Study: Maxcoat has been tested and proven effective as a protective treatment for hardware used in contact with ACQ (types A,B) treated lumber per AWPA E12 corrosion testing. Friction modifying components in Maxcoat coatings allows for the use of lower drive torques when driving Maxcoat coated fasteners into wood.
