MIL-DTL-16232 Manganese and Zinc Phosphating
Chem Processing Inc. offers manganese phosphating (Type M) and zinc phosphating (Type Z)
to MIL-DTL-16232 and related specifications. Please include type (M or Z) and class (1-4) per the specification, substrate composition and hardness, required testing, packaging, or any other pertinent information on purchase orders. Please note that we offer Type M Class 4 phosphate finish.
Chem Processing, Inc. offers cleaning, blasting, phosphating and coating per Sec. 3.2 of MIL-DTL-16232G: "A single contractor shall perform all phases of the cleaning and coating process." Chem Processing, Inc. also offers CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) services, for which phosphate coating per MIL-DTL-16232 is often applied as a preparatory step.
