AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group Electroless Nickel Plated

Chem Processing provides hardcoat anodizing, electroless nickel plating, manganese phosphate and dry film lubricants to military and commercial firearms manufacturers

Finish is one of the most important characteristics of a firearm, defining both its durability and performance. Chem Processing understands how critical this final step in the manufacturing process can be. We provide a high-quality, deep-black manganese phosphate (also called Parco and Parkerizing) for steel parts such as barrels, sights, bolt carriers and other components that matches up well to the mil-spec hardcoat anodizing that we also provide. Chem Processing's phosphate process is Nadcap accredited--an aerospace certification that has been adopted by the Department of Defense for all phosphate coatings suppliers--and meets MIL-DTL-16232 specifcation requirements..

Chem Processing provides black hardcoat anodizing on both 6061 and 7075 aluminum components that meets the requirements of MIL-A-8625 specification requirements. We routinely finish hand guards, upper receivers, receiver extensions and other aluminum components for AR-15/M4 rifles and other common weapon platforms.

For high wear components such as bolt carriers, bolts, extractors, Chem Processing provides electroless nickel plating and, for enhanced dry lubrication, electroless nickel PTFE codeposit.

Chem Processing applies dry film lubricants such as molybdenum disulfide coatings from Sandstrom and Everlube, for long-life lubrication to military requirements.
